Before you book your
charter fishing trip, I thought you might like to know a little bit about
your captain, Mike Potts. I grew up on a small farm northwest of Grand
Rapids, MI. From there, I became a teacher at Central Michigan University,
then I taught in Plainwell, MI for three years.
Becoming an elementary principal brought me to Manistee. Ten years ago, I
decided to make my passion a vocation and became licensed by the USCG as a
captain. I have run many charters on our boat in the last seven years. I
really get a thrill watching people catch the biggest fish of their lives.
I want you to take with you whatever I have to offer when it comes to
learning the tricks of the trade. On my boat, you can do as much, or as
little as you like. It's your boat for the day.
My family and I are
